Students can choose either application and only need to apply once. On the Coalition or Common Application, you will provide personal details important to your UF application. Enter the name of your school, then select UF. In the Coalition application, the following Profile sections will then be imported to your UF application: personal information, contact information, demographic information, citizenship information, high school information, college coursework, financial aid, honors and distinctions, academic interests and extracurricular activities. As part of the UF supplement, we will ask additional short-answer questions to learn more about you as we review your application for admission. If you will claim Florida residency for tuition purposes, you will need to submit the Florida Residency Declaration.

Losing Earth: The Decade We Almost Stopped Climate Change
The Coalition Application has not been without its critics, but one quality the team behind the application has proven over the past three years is its ability to adapt quickly. In a presentation to high school counselors, Annie Reznik, Executive Director of the Coalition, recently announced four exciting changes to the platform. As someone who has worked with hundreds of students applying to college, I am thrilled about these changes. Here is a brief rundown of the top four.
Domestic First Year: Students enrolling directly following high school, as well as those who have earned college credit prior to high school graduation are considered First Year applicants for admission purposes. For complete information regarding academic credentials to submit for admission consideration, please visit our web page for Freshman Applicants. International First Year: For complete information regarding academic documents required for admission consideration, please visit our web page for International Applicants. All other applicants, please visit our website regarding admission requirements and to submit an application. UCF is calling.
